Alicia Witt was a musician since her first days on screen, even if she's better than a musician, singer or pianist. Following a stint as primarily piano player, she came out with an eponymous EP in 2009 in which she showcased her obvious debt to artists like Elton John and Billy Joel, and a strong vocal range to go with it. Revisionary History was her first studio album. It was produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit is her second album due out in 2021. It marks her debut as producer. Alicia Witt appeared in the 1984 David Lynch adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune as Alia Atreides. It is no surprise that she was playing the piano before beginning acting is no wonder she got pigeonholed during her early years as an actor.
